Table with one match to go. Looks like a two horse race for the title between 2010/11 champ Steve Lansdell's spooge4 and another former winner, (Me!) with Rick Raiders . With a 13 point lead Steve is in the driving seat, I'm just hoping for as little bit of luck.

3rd place is a lot closer though with up to 7 teams capable of snatching it from Andrew Malcolm's Tinkerman too. Andrew is looking favourite but anything can happen on the final day.

Something to be said for having no transfers for the last few weeks, I'd ditched Lukaku from most teams (except this one)

Congrats Steve .

I know what you mean, the last day is so unpredictable. All my last day decisions i made in various comps went the wrong way. In OFL i was deciding between Michu & Nolan for the final midfield spot, went with Michu. In Sky thought I would do something different rather than captain Bale like 90% would. So between Michu & Mata, yes I went for Mitcu again . Not that either cost me any money, oh and I captained Sturridge in FPL too ;D.

An impressive final day sealed it for Steve, Lukuaku getting a hat-trick being the star turn. He also helped Andrew hang on to third place. Congrats to him on finishing on the podium.

Steve's 143rd place overall is the highest finisher we have ever had in Ricks footy Challenge, and this is the first time all the top 3 have finished in the top 1,000.

Funny to see the League of Leagues - I do 1 other TFFL league, have done for same one for years (a now ex. employer) and it's there at no.25! Only got 11th of 40 there! :-(
